About us

Cooperating to significantly reduce single-use plastic in the green sector - that is the goal of the Euro Plant Tray members.

Unique in Europe, 8 members founded Euro Plant Tray eG in August 2022, and by summer 2023 EPT already counts 30 members who jointly develop the European industry standard for reusable plant packaging. As a result, not only the practical EPT trays are created from the industry for the industry, but also rental models that support the industry in its sustainability transition in a liquidity protecting way and relevant service offers.

EU policy also confirms the proactive work of Euro Plant Tray eG: with the PPWR decision of the EU Parliament (Packaging & Packaging Waste Regulation, April 2024), the use of single-use plastic for national transports and transports within a company group will no longer be permitted from January 2030.
